Fun and Flirty February Date Nights

Calling all people feeling like they are stuck inside during the brutally cold months of winter! If you are like me and have cancelled plans to sit by the fire place with a glass of wine and a nice book, it is time to treat yourself to a day, night, or weekend out of the house. Luckily, the month of February is packed full of events for our guests at Gramercy Mansion as well as in the area around us. Plan your B&B getaway with our specials and packages as well as date night ideas while you enjoy your stay.

Give your significant other a treat by surprising them with a dozen roses and chocolates to go along with the romantic atmosphere we have here at Gramercy Mansion for an additional $85. For those of you that want to really express how you feel, why not upgrade one dozen roses to four dozen for $150! Allow us to help you make your stay at Gramercy unforgettable with our Romance & Roses package.

Pamper yourself and your significant other by taking advantage of our spa packages offered at the Carriage House starting at $150 for two half hour massages. Perhaps you want some time to yourself — splurge for the 1 hour hot stone massage for $160.

Let me point out the obvious upcoming holiday…Valentine’s Day. For all of you that rolled your eyes or just want to skip over this section, I urge you to read on because this is something you won’t want to miss.

Walking around the Inner Harbor and Baltimore at night is a beautiful experience within itself, but I can offer something better than that. Love is in the air (literally), so why not fall in love over Baltimore? Like myself, the last time some of you may have experienced the beauty of Baltimore from above has probably been flying in or out of the city. It’s $425 per flight and lasts about 30 minutes. Though it doesn’t seem like a long time, the memories are priceless, right? It’s time to enjoy Baltimore without worrying about your connecting flight, busy itinerary, or how many layers of clothing you have to put on to withstand cold nights walking around the city. Book your helicopter flight now because this special experience is only offered Feb. 16-25. You take off at Monumental Helicopters, 7505 General Aviation Drive, Fort Meade, MD 20755.

Speaking of layering clothing to walk outside without shivering, maybe you would rather get dressed up for a evening indoors. The Gordon Center for Performing Arts in Owings Mills is offering a night of entertainment on Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. for those interested in various types of dance. Tickets are $29 in advance or $33 at the door. This is perfect for me because I love dancing, but unfortunately, I was not blessed with that talent. It is much safer for me to kick back and watch other people elegantly express themselves as well as their culture through their graceful routines.

What about an inexpensive wine passport experience? Mark Feb. 21-22 and Feb. 28-Mar. 1 on your calendar and purchase your $25 ticket through Vino 301. This trip has a little bit of everything; there is adventure, history, and of course, wine! You even have the option of picking one of six different wine trails offered for this passport excursion. For those of you that love wine tastings and tours, try this! My suggestion is to look at the Piedmont Wine Trail with stops at Boordy Vineyards and Dejon Vineyard because that is only about 30 minutes away from Gramercy!
