Winter Restaurant Week is Here!

Oregon Grille

The Oregon Grille

The tastiest week of winter has arrived!  If the snow kept you tucked in last week, celebrate with your Valentine this week at one of Baltimore’s best restaurants.  Three-course restaurant week dinner menus are available at $20 and $30 and two-course lunch and brunch menus at $10 and $15.  You can’t beat a deal like that!  Visit AbsolutelyFebulous.com for a list of all participating restaurants.

Baltimore is truly a culinary mecca boasting a wide variety of local and International cuisine.  Whether you’re a foodie or planning a special occasion dinner, you’re sure to find something to please your palate.  Check out a few of Gramercy Mansion‘s innkeepers’ favorite Baltimore restaurants on the Restaurant Week radar this week.

The Oregon Grille – It’s unanimous around here… this is the place to go for a romantic dinner in our neck of the woods (just a 10-minute drive north of Gramercy Mansion in Maryland’s scenic horse country).  Dry-aged steaks, fine grilled fare and an extensive wine list – all served in an elegant historic stone farm house.  Visit again in the spring and dine al fresco in the charming garden courtyard.

Sascha’s Café – Located in the fun and eclectic Mt. Vernon neighborhood footsteps from Center Stage Theatre, Sascha’s menu features creative American cuisine infused with global inspiration.  Bill’s favorite is the fried chicken and Amanda likes the chopped salad.  Enjoy a tasty dinner then take in a show for a fun night out.

The Food Market – On the Avenue in Hampden, this contemporary hot spot features decadent comfort food with flair.  Dinner is served nightly and brunch on weekends and free valet parking is available – a major plus for this busy neighborhood.  While we have not yet dined here, we’ve heard amazing things and it’s on our must-try list… so add two to your reservation, please! Or let us know about your visit.
